What does a piece cost and how do you charge?
My pricing structure is different then most custom designers. I believe that everyone should be able to afford custom design for their events, but not every budget fits every option. Therefore, I split my estimate into two categories: design fees and vendor fees***. My design fee covers all correspondence, the design, and the communication with the printer and any other necessary vendors. The vendor fees consist of the printing/paper fees, the calligrapher, and the like. With this structure, my clients can make decisions on the type of printing for their piece based on their own budgetary needs.

My prices vary according to the size and scope of a job. Please contact me for more information.

All of my clients receive a detailed estimate of prices after we discuss their needs. If the client agrees to move ahead, then a contract is issued to ensure that both our rights are protected.

*** Liners and any assembly are extra.
How do we make sure that our stationery is completed on time for our event?
I recommend to all potential clients that they follow a timeline -- no less than three months in advance for offset/digital-offset, and no less than four months for a letterpress set. If less, the job may be subject to rush fees from both myself and the printers.

I like to meet with my clients in person if possible, so that I get to know their personalities and their individual needs. However, if you are not in the NYC area or would prefer to chat over the phone or by email, that works as well!
